Instructions:
Download the .pdf files by clicking the links below. Then print and cut out the cards.
For each set of cards, there are 10 unique BINGO cards, all using phonics words in a certain category (short vowels, long vowels, consonant blends/digraphs).
To play, give each student a unique BINGO card. (If you have more than 10 students, it may be necessary to put them in groups or pairs.) Then cut out the list of words on page 1 and put them in a hat or bowl. Draw one word from the hat/bowl and read it aloud. Students put an “X” over that word, if they have it on their BINGO card.
The first student to have 5 X’s (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) is the winner.
To make this last longer, you can stipulate that the winner must have FIVE rows of FIVE X’s (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
