ESL Grammar: FUTURE TENSE (9) – plan to / might

In this ESL grammar lesson, students learn to use “plan to” and “might” to create sentences in the future tense.

ESL Grammar: Using “Plan to” for Future Intentions

“Plan to” is used to talk about definite future intentions or scheduled events. Here are some examples:

  • I plan to visit my grandparents next month.
  • She plans to start a new course in September.
  • They plan to move to a new city next year.

ESL Grammar: Using “Might” for Future Possibilities

“Might” is used to express future possibilities or things that are not certain. Here are some examples:

  • I might go to the concert tonight.
  • She might join us for dinner.
  • They might travel to Europe this summer.
